How do I book a course?

When you have decided what you would like to book, follow the below instructions:

  • For the course you wish to book – select the date you wish to start, the number of weeks you wish to book for and the number of students you are booking for. Once you have selected these, click on “Add to Basket”
  • If you wish to book an accommodation, click on the accommodation tab and follow the same instruction above for booking a course.
  • If you wish to book and Airport Transfer, click on the Airport Transfer Tab and complete the relevant details under the airport you wish to book a transfer for.
  • Once you have added everything you need to the basket, click on “Book Now”. Read the “Terms and Conditions” and then click on “Accept and Continue”. You will be asked to fill out your details and provide your payment information. That’s it – all done and you will receive your confirmation email within a few minutes!

Your Booking

How much do I have to pay?
You will be asked to pay a deposit directly to bookalanguageschool.com at the time of your booking. The balance will be paid directly to the school. If you book with bookalanguageschool.com, you will never pay more than you would if you booked directly with the school.
How do I pay?
We process all payments using [Stripe], an online and mobile platform which is 100% secure and is used for processing billions of dollars of transactions per year. Other companies using Stipe include Kickstarter, Pinterest, Shopify, Twitter, Reddit, Dribbble, FourSquare, HubSpot, Salesforce etc.
When do I pay?
You will be asked to pay a deposit directly to bookalanguageschool.com at the time of your booking. The balance will be paid directly to the school and we recommend, when possible, to pay the balance 14 days or more in advance.
Can I change my booking?
If it is possible, we will do it for you! Please send us an email at [email protected] with more information and we will check for you. Remember that when you book, you are agreeing to the school’s Terms and Conditions, so it may not always be possible to change, or you may incur a fee to change.
Why haven’t I received confirmation of my booking?
Upon booking, you will automatically receive a confirmation email from bookalanguageschool.com with details of your booking and the amounts paid. A copy of the booking will also be sent to the school, who will be in touch with you to confirm your booking. Please allow up to 48 hours for the school to respond. If you do not hear from the school within 48 hours, please contact us on [email protected] and we will resolve the issue for you.
Do you arrange flights?
No, unfortunately this is not something we can do for you. We specialise in everything related to language schools and language courses. Fear not though – if you book your flights, we can manage everything else for you!
Can I book accommodation with you?

Nearly all schools offer some form of accommodation and these are listed on bookalanguageschool.com so yes, you can book accommodation with us. The accommodation itself is arranged by the school and you will receive details directly from them.

PLEASE NOTE: For reservations including accommodation, we must confirm availability of the accommodation with the school. This process can take up to 48 hours. Your booking is not confirmed until the school confirms that your chosen accommodation is available. Please do not book flights or other services before receiving confirmation from the school.

Do I need insurance?
This varies depending on your circumstances and country of origin/country of destination. Agreements in place between both countries will dictate if you need insurance. We advise that all students should obtain insurance to protect them in case of medical emergency, travel disruption etc. At a minimum, we advise all students to check the minimum requirements for insurance before booking a course. This can be checked with your local embassy.
Is my booking secure? My personal details and payment information?
Yes, your details – both personal and financial – are 100% secure. Stripe handles all payments and manages all your payment details – bookalanguageschool.com have no access to your payment details. With the exception of the school you are booking with, your personal information is stored on our secure servers and will never be accessed or given to a 3rd party, under any circumstances.

Cancellations & Refunds

What happens if I cancel my booking?
Depending on the circumstances of the cancellation, you may or may not be entitled to a full or partial refund of the money you have paid as cancellations are subject to the Terms and Conditions of the school which you have booked. bookalanguageschool.com does not charge any cancellation fees and refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
What happens if the school cancels or cannot accept my booking?
In this instance, you will not be charged and your deposit will be refunded in full. Alternatively, you can request an alternative course with a different school and your deposit will be used for this. The choice will always be yours.
What are the Terms and Conditions?
Upon booking, you are agreeing to abide by the Terms and Conditions of the school you are booking with. The terms and conditions of bookalanguageschool.com can be found here.


Do I need a Visa?
Depending on your country of origin and country of destination, you may require a Visa and it is the responsibility of the student to check this themselves. You can check this with your local embassy.
How do I get a Visa?
bookalanguageschool.com cannot apply for or obtain a Visa for you. The school you are booking will help you with the process of obtaining a Visa. Generally you will need a “Letter of Acceptance” from the school along with a receipt showing payment of fees in full. Once payment has been made in made in full (deposit to bookalanguageschool.com and balance to the school), the school will prepare these documents and send them to you, along with any other information you will require.
What happens if my Visa is refused?
Each school has their own cancellation and refund policies related Visa refusal. If your Visa is refused, please inform us at least 14 days in advance of the start date of the course so that we can consider a refund of your deposit. If you inform us less than 14 days from your start date, we will unfortunately not be able to refund your deposit.
